My feed is full of "don't ask for follow" blogs...

Dear "good" Steemians,

I know you mean well, but every third post in my feed is someone taking another Steemian to task for their style of posting or curating.

You are literally spamming the community with your discussions on spam.

Maybe consider this, and that there are other options available, like responding to spam comments with a link to an older article you've written on the topic. Sure, you'll sacrifice the payout on a new post, but you'll be doing the rest of the community a huge service. And there's always the flag function for persistent offenders. As for me, I'm done upvoting the "how not to Steemit" posts in hopes that another topic proves more profitable for the content police.

Cheers!

IM COMING FOR ALL THAT "BITCOIN"

Yes to all of these things. Let's get some real content out there!

I have noticed many posts are metalinguistic. It's an uroboros of content.

I've seen a bit of discourse where it's clear that the person being attacked doesn't use English as their primary language, and thus are pegged as "spammers" because they use the most familiar English phrasing to them repetitively. Some of these people are legitimately trying to engage, and being a jerk to them makes Steemit a crappier place and does nothing to solve the spam issue. Pretty sad for a platform where the user's claim to be intellectually superior to users of social media users.
