I love parties, especially potluck because that means I will be able to try different kinds of food from different countries since I have a culturally diverse group of friends.
However, this was a bitter-sweet farewell party for my favourite teacher, mentor, and friend, Arlene. She was heading off to study a PhD in Music in the US. I miss her a lot. That night, many old friends came and talked about our adventures together in previous mission trips, choir, and musicals. Can’t wait to see her again after four years of study and I’m sure we will have another party to welcome her. :)
