RE: Pain Points of SteemIt

in #steemit7 years ago

The future of steemit is the entrepreneur.

A solution today is that we work together on posts, and one of us post on his blog and the other one resteam the post. The issue is that it's not fair because we will work together and the one who will post will earn more money than the other. And the one who will post will earn more follower that the other.
Another solution could be to create a shared account. The issue with this is that this new account will be empty and have no visibility because it will have 0 SP and 0 followers. And I will not create 10 accounts if I have 10 projects with 10 Steemians.
What is missing, is something like temporary group like in Facebook. No, It's even more than that. We should have the possibility to create a temporary "company" shared by he and me. This "company" or "group" should have our both followers. We could delegate SP to this group, the part we transfer to this group could be the part that we own in this entity. If I put 60% and him 40%, I will have 60% of the earning money. And the follower that we earn in this group should also be added to our personal account.
This king of thing will surely help newbee and will be a motivation to post and will generate new ideas and new projects. With my friend @siavach, we have a project, a shared milestone. We would like to keep our blog and continuing to post personal data but we want also post about our temporary common project.

Alone we are going fast, together we are going far away...

there s already a solution for that
called Beneficiary rewards
On platform or a post you can set up multiple beneficiaries to split the rewards with.

@heimindanger did a nice post and offered a quick solution to manage that on steemwhales.com using SteemJS https://steemit.com/steemit/@heimindanger/split-the-rewards-of-your-posts-with-other-beneficiaries--only-on-steemwhalescom-

It was proposed in Hardfork 17

Multiple Arbitrary Beneficiaries to Reward Payouts
For any given post there can be a half-dozen different people who have a financial interest in the reward. The include: voters, author, referrers, hosting providers, blogs that embedded blockchain comments, and tool developers. Whatever website or tool that is used to construct a post or comment will have the power to set how rewards from that comment are divided among various parties.
This means that if you post via Busy.org that your post will share some of its rewards with Busy. If you post through the various phone and/or desktop apps then the app developer will be able to claim some of the rewards.

Busy & Steemit need probably to add this feature as well, but it's available in the blockchain ;)

about Facebook Group: you must read the roadmap i posted, on page 9 (community)
