I have only been on steemit about a week and so I have voted for some of my posts because I often get no votes or views on my posts. I don't upvote my comments but until I get some votes I feel like I at least deserve my own vote because I know the effort I went through to make a good post or in my opinion a good post. I think if I get some steem power I will not vote for myself at all and I think it is a good way to give back a bit to the community and help others.
