For those of you who do not know me, I am a 46 year old man who has been involved in crypto currency since 2011. I understood blockchain, bitcoin, alt coins, leverage, lending, arbitrage and trading very early on because I was consumed and fascinated with what bitcoin brought to the table. I am more excited about Steemit.com than anything I have ever seen on the internet up until this point in human technology.
Many of you are already followers of me and some of you will be new followers if you take the time to finish reading this valuable information I am about to share with you to help build your Steem Tokens here on Steemit.com

(1) i have come across many whales but trust me if u associate with @broncnutz u r going to get much more than ur expectation. Even though I sometimes get discouraged, I am in this for the long haul. I'm glad I found your post, and I hope more people with significant SP follow your example. Hopefully they realize that SteemIt will be much more profitable for them if they invest in it now by spreading their power.

I like rule 6 especially. It helps out all of us. As I have invested a good chunk of my portfolio also I want to see steemit grow as well.
But as you said I want to grow myself and my investmant grow as well also.

If you look into my wallet you can see I am holding a bit. I do not want to power down but I am thinking about cashing out the Steem I have earned through lending SP and SBD as I feel I am to all in here as Steem is making a little less then 50% of my total portfolio and it is making me nervous.

Steemit has a huge growth potential, however there is the risk that a similar platform could emerge and take an important part of the market share of steemit.
Many people compare steemit with facebook, I think this is wrong. There very different social media. In facebook the majority of people just reblog something that read, or saw. Few people produce original and quality content in FB. In steemit in order to be successful you need to invest time and energy in producing quality posts.

Hey bud, right now I may be a minnow but someday soon I will be rich. I intend to power up my account by at least 5000 Steem by year end and will continue to do so. Here and now I will make this same pledge.
Until the date of my son Nathans 5th birthday April 17st 2020 I will never remove 1 steem from this platform.
I believe in the future and for me, cryptocurrencies are the future.
EDIT: Whoops put in April 1st instead of April 17th* hehe
The bitcoin block chain reward gets cut in half in 2020. This will shoot the price of all Cryptos higher. BTC is the peg to it all and the supply is about to drop by half . 2020 I see BTC $10,000 and Steem at .0015 which is 15.00 Steem. Get as much of it as you can.
I am a bit more conservative at $10 a share but both of our expectations could be blown out of the water. Steemit's user base clearly follows the overall market cap which means as long as crypto doe's not fail then neither will Steemit.
As for getting as much as I can. While still staying afloat with other investments and day trading currently 5000 steem is a realistic goal. I would be putting myself under serious pressure if I vested my entire portfolio.

Well I'm glad that someone understands how this works. I see people with very little posts with 10 as much money than me. I just don't understand how they did that. This account is over $1000, since just April. I will be following you and trying to figure out how to get mine up some too. I'm also not greedy, but I'm not getting any younger and I'd like to be able to afford a nice long cruise at least once in my life.
You will get that cruise.....just keep plugging away.

Good move, I do have a little question though, do you think it is better to up vote 10 people at full power or divide that 1000% power between more minnows? I know most people will want you to vote for them at full power but would that vote have the best outcome for the community,?

What a great thing you are doing for all of us! I have been reading about whales who are only upvoting their own posts. This wont help any of us grow. Im just beginning, but I am loving what I have seen so far and will be remaining active and trying to grow the system along with you.

This post sums up my thoughts on Steem. I'm about to move in much more crypto and am investing some of that in community building projects. Soon I'll be creating a drive for dolphins and up to pledge a percentage of their STEEM for community building: and giving a range of options, incl. Some that give daily returns.
Our value grows with the community. That's why I love steem.
