Any successful life that will last follows the correct principles of building. The quality of a building is determined by the plans and strategies involved in the processes of building.
Let's look at how to build our lives to success.
1. Every building starts from the mind.
If you don't carry the mental picture of what to build, you can never build. This is the conception stage.
A vision may seem to take ages to manifest, but wait on it for certainly, it can never deceive nor disappoint. Without a vision, there is no motivation. It is what moves you to the next step.
2. Translation of the vision into a paper (i.e. every building has a plan).
Building that has a well structured plan is easy to construct. Document your vision for if it is well planned, it will give direction. Plans will also give estimation of the quantities of materials needed to actualize the desired results.
Any person without a plan lives a life of regret. Such a man ends up trying everything or nothing at every time without achieving any result because, there is no defined pattern guiding him.
God our father is a perfect example of a good planner when He came up with the thought;
To successfully build yourself to an acceptable standard, you must have a clear picture of your life.
3. Every house is built according to its purpose.
We all are buildings and serve a particular purpose in life. For you to be able to build your life, you must know the purpose of your life. You have to know what you want, and why you want what you want.
4. Every good building is built according to specifications.
For you to build a storey house, you must be ready to use the right quality and quantity of the materials. This will determine how the house behave during storms. Lay the right size of foundation once the right materials have been chosen. It is the foundation of a building that determines the height and strength of the building.
Take your time to obtain the necessary foundational knowledge and skills that can serve as a shield for the challenging storms in the future. This may take your time, material resources and energy, but they are all worth spending. The foundation to any building is usually covered, but the height of that building usually surfaces to the eyes of all.
What you start today will certainly reward you tomorrow.
