Today I want to talk about how to make Steem Blockchain into a massive success. Billion dollar market. Solution by @nonameslefttouse he figured it out

I'm happy someone out there actually gets it. I noticed the Dclick approach, but their approach doesn't include the MARKET I mentioned. The market is the most important element.
The market can only be accessed before publishing, but the ads could also be viewed like posts in the PROMOTED tab are now. Those top slots become incredibly expensive, creating demand for STEEM because of jockeying for position like they do on this current mess of a trending page.
It's important for the creators to select (curate) their own ads. If they didn't have to choose, then jockeying for position doesn't exist and the demand for STEEM is diminished. Also, those spending more to promote would offer greater incentives to select their ad, such as a higher portion of what I'd call the Ad reward pool that pays out once the ad is finished and taken out of the market.
They would have to spend money again to push that same ad up if the promotion was ongoing, because they're buying 7 days worth of ad time. Then factor in the fact new ads come in, a six day old ad might not have much to offer the content producer, so they may have to run two. The competition within that market and allowing people to choose ads is what fuels most of the demand for outside money to come in at a regular and ever growing rate. The more people who sign up, the more potential eyes go the advertiser since everyone can host ads. Noobs would be lazy and select top ads, which is why those slots are the most expensive. A creator may want to run their friends promotion as well, just to be nice and help get eyes. Maybe they don't want crypto ads, maybe it's a good cause they wish to help and producing their content and including a promotion for a charity or event can be selected. Some will select ads for the sole purpose of finding the highest reward, so the ad market becomes competitive in that sense as well.
Dude I could literally talk for hours on this subject.
Thanks for posting this.
Wow you have really been thinking deeply about this.
I love the market idea. Gives content creators the upper hand and I guess some level of bragging rights as well how they are supporting good ads. Helps also to bring awareness to content creators that they can highlight some ad project currently going on. You can make the ad slots in a nice design so it doesn't have that scam feel.
Advertisers also get's real eyes then on content. The consumers get what they have enjoyed on other places. First the regular content but then also the element of randomness and nuance with various ads sometimes. And I don't think it has to have an overly scam feel. Since people wouldn't wanna promote trashy stuff on their page.
People also like the potential of some passive income from people that potentially opens up an Ad. A bit of a lottery feel. Well then it's just up to see what Blockchain that will be the fastest to implement some kind of system like this. It seems to be the best win-win structure for all sides. Many projects just wanna go with the content creator side but you probably need a steady flow of some value source. Which would be able to come with an effective market.
Combining this with some solid analytics tools and you got a winning solution that can create a nice engine of value flows. Google is already heavily doing this automatic but without the effective Blockchain solutions that is being worked on here. Google wants a bit more of an unconscious approach while bringing some more awareness on all sides would actually be more win-win.
Content producers would have their viewership back because nobody wants to tune in to the commercial channel and watch ads all day like we have now. Content is the driving force, the vessel the brings eyes to ads, so yeah, put the content on the front page. We don't see ads on the cover of a magazine for a reason.
This model makes passive investors money while they don't interfere with the actual content. Only organic votes and real eyes matter, leading to the success of the creators and that tickles down to the success of the passive investor on the sidelines.
Now, one may think within this market, people would only be again competing for twenty slots BUT if you put a limit on tags to ONE, you then create market categories where advertisers compete for top slots within several markets. So that one tiny move turns this into 10000 per day new STEEM being purchased into millions. The demand over time would be so great, people wouldn't be able to sell fast enough to drop the value meaning STEEM is immune to pump and dumps and all this other shady shit in the crypto world, making it even more appealing to investors who simply want to HOLD the token.
The moment the content producers come first, the moment they get FREE visibility and offer incentives for curators to use their stake to curate for free in form of curation reward combined with the chance at producing trending and potentially viral content which we don't have today, we have a barrier to cross because the goddamn ads are in the way....
If the content producer can't succeed due to too many ads and passive investors thinking they can simply create ads and make money without depending on the content producer, those advertisers and investors lose. They have to know their role and not overstep their bounds like they do today, otherwise they shoot themselves in the foot; they must be responsible and respect their roles in order to make the most money. Gaming the system would be a huge waste of money and time.
Like I said, I could just keep rambling on and on but unfortunately, nobody listens. If they see a hole, they don't ask a question, they simply assume it won't work, as I sit here with the answer. You damn right I put a lot of thought into this. I could ramble off another set of points straight off the top of my head like this and write an entire book on the topic.
@nonameslefttouse and @phoneinf I'm most definitely a noob not only here on steemit but blockchain in general. Enough about me, if anyone cares they can of course go to my introduction. This isn't about me, so much as what I represent, fresh blood. If I'm here a non tech savvy, didn't believe there was and legitimately viable end game to fiat regular fb transplant guy then steemit can expect a steady flow of more plankton.
Will these plankton study obsessively about blockchain, and read all the whale trash talk flag war pure shit, and sift through the bloated dead fish to find light at the end of the tunnel as I have? Perhaps? will they see that circle jerks and ass kissing, scared to flag the bosses politics dominates this platform just like in the real world they're attempting to find refuge from ? Fuck yes, you'd have to be a total moron to not see this and realise this place is definitely not a utopia, or get rich quick scheme.
I want insult either of you by giving any silly opinions I have on what to do, but I will say I like the direction you guys are taking in this impending overhaul. Action must be taken, people must be bold, and see the bigger picture, leaving behind the stupid fucking drama of past flag wars. Get over it ! This place is mostly still in the idea phase and one cant see the reef for the coral they will surely die off with their pride or be rendered just plain pathetic, obsolete and mostly exposed or vulnerable to attack.
Just my two cents on this edition of toilet talk.
