Every new user usually starts his Steemit journey with a (25) next to his user name, many do wonder what that number represents, and that is your steemit reputation, and today we will be talking about how to get more reputation points:
So, I have been here on Steemit for almost 4 months but my reputation points remained unchanged for most of that period until recently I have jumped to (29), but throughout this short journey I have been very vigilant and observant as I have started seeing some little signs of growth in my account's stats, and what I have noticed is that everytime a user with high Steem Power upvotes my post, my reputation points increase.
So to be brief if you want to have more reputation points you will need to be a Steem Power digger and attract those Steemit whales.
Thank you for reading this article, and if you like it Upvote it and Resteem it for more interesting content!
See you soon :)
I like your post very well.
Thank you @badsha02 !!
I think you may be right! I'm not sure what I am doing here, fumbling around, trying to figure out how to resteem and from where, and where not to- and to make matters worse, i changed my display name from the account name and now i cant change it back- and i have a feeling it affected certain things because it glitches back and forth between 25 and 31 based on which name its showing. frustrating. :/
Thank you @miss-j for bringing up this matter, but your reputation points are not influenced by your display name change, however, it can be downgraded if someone flags your post in case they felt your post was a spam or abusive and that will cost you some reputation points down. I hope that I have answered your question, and thank you for your pleasant visit :)
okay, thank you. yeah these are the screen shots, its been confusing me how it glitches back and forth when i click on the curation rewards tab
Oh I see, it must be a lag, because it shows 38 for the public. And you're welcome :)
