Introduction
A lot of people are in an echo chamber on the Steem blockchain and believe it will reach millions of people. In the current state, it is a reality that I don’t believe myself as an active member of this blockchain.
I love so much this blockchain that I am an active member of the 777 challenge to promote it on Twitter. It is not always an easy ride to be part of this journey with all the changes, drama, and frustration.
Crypto niche
Steem will become a specific niche in the crypto sphere with a small army of minded people that will remain active. A lot of people are very active here and produce quality content daily because they still believe.
I don’t think Steem will be the next Facebook of crypto. The social network that embraces millions of users that will use it.
After 3 years, only 40000 active accounts transact on this blockchain. Most of those accounts are not real people and are bots. Also, you have the people who have multiples account for different purposes.
The biggest problem of Steem
Everyone comes to Steem to receive crypto and get rewarded for being active to the ecosystem. Nothing wrong with that, but what this cause is the greedy mindset.
Most of the big accounts only vote for themselves and do circles jerking. The greedy mentality is I invested my hard-earned money and I need to make an ROI.
Everyone wants to accumulate the most possible and this is normal when money is involved. That is my objective for me as well, but I produce a lot of content because I love that.
Drama
One thing I hate the most on Steem is the continual drama and people who always talk the same subjects without moving forward. I hate drama because it's like a relationship where 2 people always talk to never come to an ending story.
People love to always come with the same topics that will make Steem become the next Facebook.
Steem revolution
What I like about Steem is the first social network that brings the concept to reward its users with a cryptocurrency. Steem has struggled in the last 3 years and is bleeding now because it doesn’t have a clear vision where it wants to go.
Steem has survived the tsunami bear market and will remain in the coming years. When you have real people, you have real value on a platform or otherwise, Steem will already be a historic event today!
I believe this social network will have a bright future but will be a specific niche in the crypto sphere.
Conclusion
I am an active member and check what is happening every day on this ecosystem and I see many left the boat. It is not easy to make money here and people come with high expectation to make a killing.
Unfortunately, it is not the reality and then they quit and stop posting. The people that are on Steem are the ones that understand the real potential but is a limited number.
The majority want something easy to use and Steem is not the case. Even today you have a learning curve for everything. Most of them will remain on Facebook because it is convenient and easy to use.
In the current state, Steem will become a small niche in the crypto sphere for the years to come.
Chesatochi.com – For the love of crypto
Even as a niche market I feel it's a good thing! And I'm loving this "community" thing we have going on here.
Steem is like an addiction!

Steem is not only for content, but on what I see right in front of my eye, it is more to community and game development. Social media is a trend yesterday, and yesterday is gone. At present time, a social community with like minded people will sprouts from anywhere and that concept begin and evolved inside our blockchain.
The Steem blockchain evolves and changes constantly. The only limit is the imagination!
Social media sites, Have own YouTube and most of all custom tokens on steem blockchain makes it a really good coin.
Always depends on people faith for the value of those tokens.
That quote really sums up the story steem will have its own legacy
