We do not think it's a wise idea to shoot any of the cows but if you must then you should do it ONLY IF you have a rifle, a knife, and magnesium fire starter, otherwise you should just walk away.
We don't have the list of all those who died last round. I'll update this section once we do.

All terrible options as most of us have to eat by the end of today. I would have to use both my cans to feed me and my teammate. I think this is a food round and a death round... cant wait to see outcome!!!

I decided to walk a way also. I have a pistol and don't think it will kill the animal. Beside you can only use a small portion of the cow. I think the smell of the cooking would attract unwanted people.

The rule for firearms stealth is that you never shoot twice. Once is fine, bad guys can't locate you. You shoot twice and your perception of sound direction improves and they can find you or least head your direction.

That's a very good point Zachary. I never thought about that but knew it from previous experience.
Right, and we don't know how many rounds Papa Pepper is going to have anyone with guns fire, so it's quite possible he's going to have people fire more than one. No control over that. Personally, I think this is a fast elimination round for anyone who chooses to fire on the cows, sort of like anyone who chose to fire on the turtles in the last episode - you get focused on all those firing options and it can be easy to forget about the snipers we just discovered on the ridge right above you in the last episode...

You should've seen Ben and I cracking up over videos yesterday because when we read the options our only two were to walk away or try to kill the cow with a knife (or a rock, but that's not even an option...).
We Googled "killing a cow with a knife" just because we wondered if we could even do it and got lots of advice like needing to have the cow totally restrained and maybe even in some kind of stanchion/sling so it couldn't get away and how big of a blade you'd have to use and we started picturing ourselves trying to tackle this giant longhorn so we could saw at it's tough neck with a 6" knife while it...just sat there and let us?
