Very true...I did consider including that in here, but felt that the IPFS part would have made this too long. But I did plan to put out a guide on setting that up in this next week.
Well, no edit.
So, I am not good with it. I am editing my podcasts for better quality. And sometimes I edit because I say something bad or I sneeze...
So. Not a good use for me :)
Guess I will keep using adobe audition :)
You could always download the .wav from the link craig bot gives and then do the editing on that file. But definitely a preference and use-case scenario.
Hi there!!! :) the pirate captain is here! hahaha
remember on March 1 when I said I was gonna celebrate my 500th follower with all of the PYPT people who pimped their post that day?
I didn't forget ;) I was just out of the country for some time! hehehe now i'm back and tip! simple
enjoy!!!!!! :)
If you have any trouble just let me know. On existing discords with roles and permissions on channels...sometimes Craig's permissions has to be tweaked for him to be able to enter rooms.
A very simple to follow guide. Thank you for making this technology accessible to everyone. Your step by step instructions will help many new and upcoming Sound-SuperStars in the future. Best Regards, @fcpway
Happy to be helpful! Audio has definitely become my favorite medium and I've never had great luck with audacity...hooray for craig bot! D:
I'm still working on getting my own IPFS set up which should make them hosted indefintely on dsound...once I do I'll get a guide together to walk through it. :)

Great post @sykochica - most useful and totally clear to follow.
I also didn't know about Craig Bot.
One point, should you remind people to ensure they keep their own backups of the files as they will only stay on DSound for a few weeks at most?
I understand from discussions with prc that that is the case unless they are running their own local IPFS node.
Very true...I did consider including that in here, but felt that the IPFS part would have made this too long. But I did plan to put out a guide on setting that up in this next week.
I did edit that point in though. :) Thank you!
Helpful post for beginner like me. Nicely understood. Thank you. Keep it up. Want more.
