Gabor then set about putting into practice his method which consisted of two steps: on the one hand, to fix in a concrete form the image of a figure on a photographic plate; and on the other hand, apply lighting to it after the revealing. The test turned out to be a failure in optimizing the images of the electron microscope, but gave rise to a technique to represent reality.
At that moment he decided to call his technique: holography, in honor to the Greek term "holos" that means "complete". Since then this technique was advancing, and with the arrival of computers its boom was greater.
The large and precise holograms are already a reality, which is a better test than the concerts of the digital singer "Miku" of the band vocaloids, however this requires a well equipped and extremely expensive stage.
