RE: Thought Experiments in Splinterlands: "Reward Card Packs" and a Fun New Account Bound System

Thanks for the response @djbagman. The relative level of being an OG in this game is created in times like this. Many people that others look at as whales or relatively loaded with assets in this game were not nearly as big until a rough time really hit the game and asset prices plummeted. It's actually a really good thing we have these cycles for those that stick around can acquire assets at shockingly lower prices than they are used to. If players are able to do it in crypto it's not a bad idea to have a "fire sale fund" to the side to use when things go down quickly in value, because it's bound to happen at some point. Glad you liked the concepts about the gold foil availability. The interesting thing is there would truly be no clear cut "giveaways" even for bots that were to acquire a major gold foil card, especially legendary cards. At the current rates it would take 12,500 DEC to "animate the card" under the above mentioned concept of needing the player to fully create a burn value and make the card market enabled. Of course that would have the price "baked in" when players sell it.

thats how I feel on bids sorta. bid the burn and I cant loose
