No need to worry if you drafted him. In August he was still going around rb 30. If that's where you got him you didn't overpay. The eagles still love him and drafted him higher than any rb on the roster in a decade. He shows major flashes when given the opportunity. He will work through his rookie struggles. It's still early in the year. The high ceiling is coming so hold strong. If you didn't draft him though, now is the time to buy. He's leading the backfield in touches still and could easily be a league winning rb later in the year. I'd imagine most Sanders owners are in a panic after seeing career plodder Jordan Howard get a tad more work on Thursday vs Green Bay. There's a reason Chicago dealt him for basically nothing. Howard is a 1 trick pony with no agile bone in his body. Without massive running lanes he can't do a whole lot. With that said, there could still be a lot of work for Howard if the eagles can get past their defensive struggles. If philly can start blowing out teams then I'd expect Howard to still be grinding clock late in games but that would be after Sanders gets his.
Not all rookies come on super strong. I think as the season progresses so will Sanders grasp on running the ball in the NFL
