I had taken a break of Splinty, probably a good idea for anyone to try if they're getting too sucked in. By "too sucked in" I mean yelling and throwing things in the midst of a bad losing streak - lesson learned there. The new format is......different.....but I think probably a good thing now that I have some things figured out.

I would not say my performance has drastically improved, mostly because my cards are meh, and I refuse to pay any more money into the system. Instead my focus is to genuinely play-2-earn and build my stash that way. Gonna be a long road, but actually participating in tournaments has made a big difference!

While my cards are super low powered, by playing consistently in the beginner tournaments, I have really seen a huge growth in my weekly/monthly stash building by earning DEC steadily (if slowly) kind of regardless of low card level. It's tough cause some matchups will just obliterate me, but it's more often fun than not. Go tournaments!

I earned like a hundred DEC through tournaments and been able to convert that to increase my SPS stash and hopefully improve my earn right in normal battles!

Only a single SPS. To me this is the HUGE downside to the new format as SPS gain has drastically slowed and it's much harder to advance in leagues b/c its such a slow climb. That's probably the point, so I guess I should not complain too much.
Loving the new joy and energy I've found for the game, hope others find it as well! Good luck battling out there people.
