With the completion of all the projects that have been interfering a lot with my posts lately, I am finally back to regular writing. Today I would like to tell you some tidbits from the world of Hive because really interesting things happened.

Great movement thanks to Runi!

Let's start with the amazing news that happened recently. On October 25th there was a corss-chain mint of new NTFs to Splinterlands. All this took place on OpenSea, which is one of the biggest platforms that host NFTs! What's interesting is that these little creatures can have more than 2 billion possible combinations of traits, with a rare Rune that cannot be repeated, I think this is really interesting on the part of the game developers. From the information we have received, we know that we are getting new skills along with Runi. In case Runi is defeated, his skill will allow him to revive himself to life.

As I write this, there are about 28 hours left until the public minotation, I wonder if it will also be as successful as the pre-sale. Where currently the floor price is set at 0.26 ETH with only 18% of all runes available for purchase. It makes me wonder very much whether, with the recent big sales and the increase in the price of ETH, it is not worth waiting for other people to mint Runi. And then after some time, they will put up at a lower price. Of course, this only applies to those that will not be such rare specimens. However, for those who do not want to spend several hundred dollars, this is a really good strategy. I myself am still wondering what to do because, the last investments were allocated to WOO, about which more in a moment.

Redeeming Alpha packs in 99 seconds!

Something I don't think anyone expected, which is one of the bigger events that has taken place on Hive since last time. On October 31st, the sale of 30,000 Aplha packs of cards took place. What happened was one of the biggest surprises in a long time. In a mere 99 seconds, all $60,000 worth of packs for the game were redeemed. But that's not all, so many sales were made that after about 4 minutes, the ability to interact with the site was turned off because about 40,000 packs out of 30,000 were observed to be sold. Of course, all the people who didn't make it are getting their WOO back, but there is one small but.

Unfortunately, all those who receive a refund have to accept a loss of about 50%, because the token price collapsed during the sale of packages. I'm sorry about that, but I managed to do it anyway and bought more than 222 parcels, and as a result, in my case, I managed to do it really fast. Interestingly, my first purchase was made within 9 seconds, which I think is one of my lifetime records when it comes to clicking fast.

I'm very curious to see what will happen next, as all indications are that we will soon get information on the lands. This is a very important piece of information because it can raise the price of $WOO once again, making it possible to earn several times over a short period of time. Another thing I'm looking at is the price of cards. I hope to get a pair of cards with gold stripes at a low price. If that's the case, I'd really be happy with the way the whole process is going.
