Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb 11:1), it is believed to be the connection between humans and God, it is the belief in the unseen or the unknown.
The feeling of being able to speak things into existence with faith is just amazing. As awesome as faith is, it is not one of the easiest things to develop.
It takes time, it will need to you to look beyond the ordinary, it will need you to give up trying to be in control and so much more. But the result after all of that "sacrifice" is just awesome!
Jesus taught about faith in the Bible and in His teaching he said "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you" (Matt. 17:20)
Wow! That's just how mighty faith can be, just imagine how mighty a mountain looks!
I feel the Jesus was just talking about a mountain literally, he meant the challenges, hardships we might face, the troubles we might encounter in this life's journey.
Faith seems to be the easier alternative, but it really isn't because it takes more to build and develop it. But before you develop the faith that you need to speak to your mountains (challenges and situations), you don't wanna just stand and keep staring at the mountains or do you?
Chances are that faith might never get to be developed when you stand looking at the problems, so instead of not doing anything about it, face the problems and the challenges, you may be surprised that your faith will grow in the process.
Even when acting in faith, you are not just gonna sit back and let faith do the whole "work", remember that faith without work is "dead" (James 2:14-26). Whichever one it is, it will need you to act, just that with faith you will be sure that there wouldn't be any form of fear, anxiety or stress.
Don't let your lack of faith stand in the way of your dreams, go for your dreams and work on developing your faith, because I believe that with faith, you will be much more efficient.
When your faith is yet to move mountains, feel free to climb the mountains or try finding your way around it. It is just a mountain anyway.
We can't speak things into existence. We can't move mountains unless God wants them moved. Any power that we would have with our faith would be to do what God has directly called us to do. We can't do self-serving miracles. We can't do miracles at all. It's all foolishness.
I believe God has given us the power to do so, it is for us to accept that power. We can't do miracles by depending only on our own human power. Thanks for commenting.
