Mi día a día: Laborando como vendedora. [ES] / My day to day: Working as a salesperson. [EN]

Hola a todos mis amigos de HIVE, hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes un poco de mi día de trabajo estando en la ciudad de Lima, Perú. Desde hace un año y medio me encuentro desempeñando una labor como vendedora en tiendas de ropa que comprende desde la talla 0 para recién nacidos, hasta la talla 16 que es ropa para niños de más edades, además poseen prendas como peluches, juguetes, entre otras, en el cual me ha tocado adaptarme a cada uno de los términos empleados por el ciudadano peruano, que evidentemente es muy diferente al mencionado en el territorio venezolano, sin embargo este no ha sido impedimento para desenvolverme de buena manera y poder comprender las peticiones del cliente. El día de trabajo comienza desde 08:30 a.m. iniciando con la apertura de cada uno de los puestos de trabajo, está conformado por 5 tiendas, ubicadas en un mega mercado en el Distrito de Comas, que contiene diversos giros de mercadería, dichas tiendas son atendidas por señoritas a las cuales nos atribuyen la tarea de hacer limpieza profunda de pisos, continuando con el orden de los artículos exhibidos y a su vez atendiendo a cada persona que pueda acercarse a preguntar.

De todo el personal la más antigua he sido yo, por tal motivo y por la confianza que he causado durante todo el trayecto ejecutando mi labor, me asignan de encargada cuando los dueños no están presentes, durante la ejecución me corresponde estar al tanto de todas y cada una de las tiendas, así como de las ventas efectuadas por las chicas, asignar labores, prestar atención a las cámaras de seguridad y por último realizar el cobro de caja, siendo esta la que más responsabilidad acredita según mi opinión, son tantas las estafas efectuadas por clientes ficticios que llegan con la única intención de engañar y poder sacar a cambio prendas y dinero de la tienda, es por ello que hay que ser muy cuidadoso al momento de percibir algún tipo de dinero proveniente de ellos, para poder evitar recibir un billete falso y posterior sea descontada la cantidad del sueldo que nos corresponde.

Nuestro día de trabajo culmina a las 9:30 p.m. donde procedemos a realizar limpieza nuevamente y continuar con el cierre de las tiendas, cierre de caja y recibimiento de la comisión generada por cada una de nuestras ventas efectuadas en el día. Ciertamente resultamos agotadas por el exceso de horas laboradas, pues para nadie es un secreto que en el territorio peruana abusan de las horas de trabajo y a su vez hacen entregan de un sueldo que no considera el horario, pero a nosotros como extranjeros no nos queda otra opción que tolerar dicho acto injusto para poder sobrevivir y llevar a cabo nuestros objetivos.

For a year and a half I have been working as a salesperson in clothing stores ranging from size 0 for newborns, to size 16 which is clothing for older children, they also have items such as stuffed animals, toys, among others , in which I have had to adapt to each of the terms used by the Peruvian citizen, which is obviously very different from the one mentioned in the Venezuelan territory, however this has not been an impediment to develop in a good way and to be able to understand the requests of the client. The work day starts from 08:30 a.m. Starting with the opening of each of the jobs, it is made up of 5 stores, located in a mega market in the Comas District, which contains various lines of merchandise, these stores are attended by young ladies to whom we are assigned the task to do deep cleaning of floors, continuing with the order of the exhibited articles and at the same time attending to each person who may come to ask.

Of all the staff I have been the oldest, for this reason and because of the trust that I have caused throughout the journey executing my work, they assign me to be in charge when the owners are not present, during the execution it corresponds to me to be aware of all and each of the stores, as well as the sales made by the girls, assign tasks, pay attention to the security cameras and finally make the cash collection, this being the one that accredits the most responsibility in my opinion, there are so many scams carried out by fictitious customers who arrive with the sole intention of deceiving and being able to get clothes and money from the store in exchange, that is why you have to be very careful when receiving some type of money from them, to avoid receiving a false ticket and later the amount of the salary that corresponds to us is deducted.

Our work day ends at 9:30 p.m. where we proceed to carry out cleaning again and continue with the closing of the stores, closing of the cash register and receipt of the commission generated by each of our sales made on the day. Certainly we are exhausted by the excess of hours worked, because for no one it is a secret that in the Peruvian territory they abuse the hours of work and at the same time they deliver a salary that does not consider the schedule, but for us as foreigners we have no other option than to tolerate this unjust act in order to survive and carry out our objectives.
