Thanks @kiligirl! Cathcart is a VERY small town in the Eastern Cape about 130km inland from East London. It's a small farming town and it's what you'd expect from a small farming town... Quiet with not much to do in winter when it's too cold to be outside.

Will be interesting to learn more about life in Cathcart. I have a Vaalie tourist-eye view of the EC (have often spent time in Kenton), but also have worked with political types in the area, have friends who farm there and others who are developing energy projects in the province. Small town, maybe, but farming is so essential to our lives it will be good to learn more from the ground, as it were :-)
