My daughter has a double cleft palate/lip, she got it from me. DNA sometimes is not that gentle :).
Now that she is almost grown up, it was time to pass the most important surgery.
His upper jaw had to be surgically modified to avoid problems and pain later in life.
It was an operation I was afraid of, as I considered it to be very onerous.
The jawbone had to be sawn from the base of the nose to below the temples, to separate it from the skull, so that it could be slid forward using a double jack.
The video is very instructive without being difficult to watch, even if you're a little sensitive.
The apparel my daughter has is the one shown at time code '1.00 minute.'
The operation went very well, the surgeon is happy with the result and my daughter is putting up with the pain with great courage.
People who see her say that her face has changed a lot, for the better, and I, her father, am very proud of her.
So to make her happy, I gave her a little present that she asked for, a free design game called ‘Tiny Glade’.
That's just an example of what she's doing with it... I hope it will help her to think to something more pleasant while she recovers.

hey dad, sorry for the late reply, I was afraid of having a bad english.. (so if I make some mistakes, correct me 😊) I'm very happy to read that you're proud of me, I'm really touched by this.
