Knotilus Daily Pond ~ Sea Urchins Walking and Pretty Tea Cups Hanging

Managed to catch a beautiful shot!

These amazing pink sunsets only last a couple of minutes usually, I often have to race down to the pond to catch them in time. Absolutely worth the race!

It feels like a really long time since it was warm enough for me to be willing to pop up from whatever I’m doing and run down there. Often the bitter winds made me think twice and deem it not even close to worth it!

We had a mild winter, but even so, it required layers and prepping to go outside just to snap a pic of the sunrise or the sunset.

Now, the temperatures are often mild enough that I can just pull my coat and my sneakers and head outside, I LOVE IT!!

At the beach the other day there were a few sea urchins in the tide pools!

It’s not very often you can spot sea urchins this close to shore. Usually they’ll choose spots in deeper water, or on rocky shores where they can hide further down the sea walls, making them less accessible to birds.

These were in shallow tide pools, perhaps the reason they haven’t been eaten is all the little rocks they were holding onto to disguise themselves.

I love how they “walk” around!

I made sure they were tucked back in the shade after taking a good look at them. Hopefully the gulls didn’t get this one!

Took some nice pictures of a recent macrame plant hanger I made!

I should probably push it better though so I don’t lose the momentum I did manage to acquire over the past 6 months.
