The earth usually isn’t called so, but the distance zone (not too far from sun, and not to close to sun, so life is possible) is called the “Goldilocks zone”. This is from the fairy tale of Goldilocks who comes into a house where many objects come in three instances: one too big, one too small, and one just right.
