Selfishness is an evil that is generated in humanity, bringing a total disinterestedness for everything that surrounds it, since the person who generates it is self-absorbed in his own self-centeredness and completely no observed the collective good.
Selfishness is an excessive appreciation that a person has for himself, and that makes him attend excessively to his own interest, without worrying about others.
God does not welcome the person who manifests this behavior and the Bible mentions people who practice selfishness as a way of life.
Proverbs 18: 1
He who is selfish only thinks of himself and does not accept any advice.
The egoist is a rebellious person who does not like to share anything he has and only thinks about him all the time is dependent on his personality and his situation, he is a person totally devoid of love, because, the Bible says that the true Love does nothing wrong.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-5
Love is patient, it is kind. Love is not envious or boastful or proud. He does not behave rudely, he is not selfish, he does not get angry easily, he does not hold a grudge.

Love really is what moves the world to practice the fruits of the spirit and to live in empathy with others.
All people have needs needs to meet and in this world we are exposed to any adversity therefore we must consider with compassion when someone needs and we can reach out to help.
We must understand the people who are by our side and put ourselves in their place when they are going through adversities or suffer some grievance because all the people in this world are important and if we know what we have, it will be in vain because we will have God's reward.
God loves unity and people who are not selfish but rather practice solidarity and love with their neighbor.
The apostle Paul advises us the following:
1 Corinthians 1:10
10 I beg you, then, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in the same mind and in the same opinion.
