"Love is not blind-It sees more and not less, but because it sees more it is willing to see less." "Love is blind and marriage is the institution for the blind." Often, I hear people saying that love is blind and that is why they are in relationships they are now. For some reasons I do not believe that love is really blind, and sometimes thing that it does not exist. Men seem to idealize women more than women idealize men. For example, a survey of love songs has found that females were more often described as "heavenly" or "angels" than males.
Every particular Relationship has different tastes for different person.
Like any curry made by your mom can be tasty for your friends but not for you. So same goes for emotions. You cannot match anyone's personal way of feeling a particular emotion. Men seem to idealize women more than women idealize men. For example, a survey of love songs has found that females were more often described as "heavenly" or "angels" than males.
It’s like Phone calls. Millions of millions calls are made per day but they almost never ever have same frequency. Then how can these answers match your vision of love.
Love can intoxicate you to the point that you act outside of your character within the relationship. Your eagerness to keep the relationship positive can keep you from being honest. You discount your own opinions and simply try to please your significant other. This is a pattern that can lead to very unrealistic expectations in the relationship that could backfire down the road. Every healthy relationship should welcome honesty and vulnerability. If we choose who to love and/or date, why do we say love is blind? If love was blind I would be dating Ms South Africa but because it is not I cannot even stand a chance to great her.
Correct me if I am wrong and prove me that love is really blind.
