If you're looking for ways to increase your blog's exposure in the long-run, and you post what you consider high-quality content, you ought to consider signing up for the Qurator active curation group.
Qurator is a 5-tiered curation and upvote group with member requirements for each tier staffed with some high-quality Steemians, such as theleapingkoala. The basic, tier 0 membership costs 4 Steem/SBD to be considered for approval, and provides a basic upvote for life, once per day (voting weights can be viewed later in the post). This upvote comes from the less powerful @qurator-tier-0 account, but if you are a regular poster it remains a no-brainer, presuming you post quality content that the Qurator community can support.
What is "quality" content? Some of the requirements are pretty obvious - no plagiarism, properly cite your sources, etc. Others are mode judgment based, such as the policy against getting involved in flame wars and Steemit drama.
The higher weight you place on the Qurator daily posts, and the more you delegate (up to 500SP), the more you help the Qurator project. As a reward, you are also placed higher in the Qurator tiers yielding you a larger (single) daily vote from the Qurator account, currently worth around $1.62 (~$5 US) at tier 5. Any profits are used to purchase and renew leases of SP to fuel Qurator, which currently has 99,000 SP. The upvoting and delegation requirements for each tier provide a solid amount of support for expenses incurred in the operations above, but Qurator does not function at a profit to my knowledge.
If you are a past voter for Qurator, note that they have recently requested that members increase their votings weights on posts to at least 1 cent (or 100%, if under 1 cent) votes. As a result, you'll want to increase Qurator's weight on your SteemVoter (or other chose autovoter) to ensure you maintain your tier level.
Qurator does recommend the use of Steemvoter (or an equivalent) to make sure you don't miss voting on any of their regular posts. Steemvoter has gotten expensive (relatively speaking) compared to when SBD were only a $1, so you might also consider looking into SteemAuto, a voting automation tool that I believe has no usage fee, and is developed by Mahidyari, the same gent behind SteemFollower (another tool I recommend, see my signature.)
If you contribute to Qurator, not only are you helping your blog be seen by more readers, but you are also making an active "donation" to curation efforts across the Steemit platform. I hesitate to even call it a donation, as Qurator will pay for itself as long as you are a regular or semi-regular poster. I recommend it for anyone who is proud of their blog posts.

I have applied for it just before the price to apply went to 4 steem. It's definitely a great project that helps you get some extra exposure. Plus getting that upvote for life is a no brainer! If you post every day, you can accumulate a nice amount every month just from qurator alone.
Ah, yes, I noticed the price had gone up due to demand! Glad you got in early.
Awesome @lexiconical, thanks for the info on all of these different services! Now I just need to start integrating them into my steemit use
I strongly suggest it! Start with SteemFollower, it's a killer app, if you aren't already there.
@qurator is a great initiative! I joined them several weeks ago.
And yes, we need to check if the autovotes are working because sometimes they don't and that can affect your tier for the week.
Yep, you'll get dropped if your autovoter craps out!
thank you for sharing

@qurator is a great guild to join. My best tip is to upvote 7+ of their posts every week to get upped to tier 2 member, and the membership fee will be paid off in a week or so with active posting.
Well ! I find this quite intresting and helpful. The writing language used is simple hence its more undrstandable. Plus it elaborates the words well, so the users understand it very well.
I like u ..
