thank you, quartz crystals normally are sold without the host rock attached, but this host rock grew inside the bottom part of the crystal, so its not worth removing it since it would require breaking part of the crystal. Plus there is no need since it looks beautiful naturally the way it grew.

It's pretty clear but what happened on the half of that quartz crystal?
the bottom part appears to be the host rock
