RE: [Trip report] The classic 5 grams of mushrooms in a dark room

in #psychedelics7 years ago

I ate just 1.7 grams of dried psilocybe cubensis a few years ago, a small dose, and I believe it's forever change me to being a more compassionate person. At the time I had so many questions run through my head that it wasn't a fun experience... it's what it taught me afterwards that really mattered. I care no longer about wealth and material possessions, it just seems so pointless thing to dedicate your life to. "Look at me... I'm rich!" Says a man living his life in the eyes of others. Live life through your OWN eyes. Be astonished for just being here, not for what you possess for a hundred years or less.

Embrace the simple things and see how amazing life already is. Touch water... do the dishes, jump in a pool, have a shower but try to REALLY feel it and you'll see how beautiful simple things can be. Walk on soft cool grass in your bare feet. Breathe in the fresh morning air. Gaze at the Sun, the mesmerizing ball of burning gases, creeping up over the edge of the Earth and REALLY feel it. You only get a limited time on this Earth. Learn to embrace the beauty of it all.
