The Sheikh Zayed mosque is indeed the third largest mosque after the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Nabawi Mosque in Medina. The United Arab Emirates government deliberately restricted the large and large mosque named after their dead leader, Sheikh Zayed, in order not to exceed the area of both mosques. Due to trigger died during the making of this mosque, then Sheikh Zayed was buried in an area beside the mosque.
