These exchanges including Poloniex have made us to lose trust in them due to their greed and inefficiencies. As I indicated in my recent post, we better have our own exhange and store our coins in offline wallets. Upped, thanks for sharing

Exactly and if the DEXs can solve some of the current problems we will in a sense have that.
Hopefully, I guess that Bitshares (pls see my recent post) is doing a good job however still need to accept more coins
Yes and you still have to trust the gateways.
