Nigeria over time has been bedevilled by very corrupt and porous electoral processes. Electoral anomalies such as rigging, financial inducement, ballot box snatching, harassment and thuggery are common feature in the Nigerian political arena which over time has led to the election of leaders that are in direct contrast with the will of the people.
This directly and indirectly has led to the untold hardships that Nigerians have faced over the years.
2019 is yet another junction in our political and democratic journey and it is yet another avenue for us to take our destinies in our own hands and salvage the already deplorable state of our polity.
Corp members in the Independent Corrupt Practices Community Development Service group in Tarka Local Government in lieu of the above, decided to embark on an anti corruption rally and campaign which was aimed at enlightening the public on how to exercise their franchise and how they can make use of their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) as a 'weapon' for fighting corruption in governance.
