Life Goes On
We go through the motions day by day,
Thinking this is the way it’s going to stay.
Then we’re hit with an unexpected loss,
And all our dreams got tossed.
Someone we love passes away,
Which causes us to mourn and pray.
I know it must hurt really bad,
And you will be extremely sad.
But everything happens for a reason,
Although this brings a depressing season.
All I know is that God knows best,
This is just one of life’s tests.
So we should always remember to be strong,
Even though sad times last long.
We’re destined to die from we’re born,
So when our love ones die, life goes on.
