Keeping up with love

This is my first poetry that i attempted to write about love from a guy's perspective.

Keeping up with love,
As it was,
To not change it's cost,
For it was it's price,
That made my pulse run wild.

My thoughts on Love,
it was fast, so I geared up,
I could not let it go,
Cause it made the better me glow,
It wanted to share my world,
thoughts and touch,
And was ready to wait,
still I returned,
it knows I missed it whole,
For each night I talked,
to the moon to tell her so.

keeping up with love,
the kind of love distance changed not,
hurts never recalled,
I forgot the sense in it all.

Funny you,
You caused me sleepless nights,
and silly me,
without reason,
I fell for you.

And now I see,
For it is my hope,
and I hope yours too,
For through the times,
our love swells deep,
Though distant,
it becomes real,
Fate bear me a witness this day,
that we shall meet once and again,
That we may connect weaker,
and restore the bond stronger,
for I wonder what this love be,
keeping up with it,
has turned me in,
Has touched me deep,
has become a part of me.
