The body of Ekushey poet Poet Belal Chowdhury has paid tribute to the people of all walks of life on Central Shaheed Minar.
On 11th of Wednesday, the body of the poet was kept in Shaheed Minar for the public welfare.
Then the people of various classes and people gave floral tributes to the poet. During this time the poets and writers of the country were present along with noted poets as well as relatives and friends of relatives and friends of Kabir.
Awami League general secretary and road transport and labor minister Obaidul Quader came to pay tribute to poet Belal Chowdhury.
After paying tribute, he said, Belal Chowdhury was a bot tree. He wrote about the Bengal soil-man and the sky. In his writings these figures emerged. It was also popular in Calcutta. Her death caused irreparable damage to the country.
Kabir Belal's nephew Rafiq-um-Munir Chowdhury told reporters that after the janaza of the central mosque at the University of Dhaka, Kabir would be buried in his village home in Feni.
Belal Chowdhury, a renowned poet of the sixties, left the last breath at the hospital's Anwar Khan Modern Hospital on Tuesday noon.
Belal Chowdhury is one of the poets, journalists, writers and translators. He was the editor of 'India-Bichitra' published from the Indian High Commission for a long time. He also edited Rupali Group's weekly Sandwip.
While living in Kolkata for several years, he worked in the literary journal 'Krittivas', edited by poet Sunil Gangopadhyay.
He got Ekushey Padak in 2014. The Bangla Academy Literary Award was also given out.
