A stunning scenery of crystal clear water and green Mangrove Tree, what a view! In the Philippines, it is known as "Bakawan". It is very significant in marine life. Fishes, crabs, shrimps, shell fish and other marine creatures lives on the roots of this tree. It also serves as shield against huge waves. It was my second time to see and touch a bakawan. people of Alabat and the local government is protecting this trees that is why the sea is giving back a bountiful catch.
