Yup!
As roots are so important to trees (among other things), I decided to hit #treetuesday (contest by @old-guy-photos) with this one. I still remember this trip from a few summers ago; the forest was truly magical that day.
Why not leave a comment if this picture wakes any thoughts (and especially if it doesn't)?
If you like my material, feel free to follow me @vimma, sharing is perfectly fine as well!
Have a good one, everybody!
Some cool gnarly roots!
There were once a dense collection of trees right there. Is that a pine forest?
Because of the climate, most of the forests in Finland are coniferous. Fun fact: well over 70% of Finland's area is woods.Hello @molometer and thanks for stopping by!
This shot is from a path we trekked to get to a nearby lake: there are plenty of routes like this around here. There was quite dense woods on both sides of the path - I imagine it's pretty difficult to advance when it's rainy, hehe
Beautiful. The shallow depth of field works surprisingly well for this shot.
Thanks very much for your feedback, I think so too!
I chose to make the picture this way as it draws attention to the gorgeous roots and still you get a grasp of the surroundings.
This is perfect for #treetuesday! :)
Superthanks!!
