Drives
Having done some actual racecar driving, I had the opportunity to coach people around a racetrack in some really respectable street cars. The cars (in order of preference) are shown here, from their cockpits during the morning warm ups. | ①Porsche 911 GT3 - This is a car I want (if I ever win the lottery) |
---|---|
②Lamborghini Huracan - This was a close 2nd. But the ostentatious design is a bit much for me, at my age. | ③Ferrari 458. I was not a big fan of this car. The steering felt digital, like it was either full lock or straight ahead. |
Random Sightings
Not one, but TWO gold Pontiac Azteks, years after they stopped production. I'm wondering if this is the person that sold the idea to GM.
Funny story about this car, Honda Civic Type R. I had seen it, and taken this picture. And would drive by this house frequently to see if there was someone in the yard to talk to. Well, one day, I stopped and the owner of this car came running out to my car and asked if he could have a ride in my car. He warned me that he was drunk, and I told him so long he didn't puke in my car, we could go around the block. So we did, he smiled, and I never saw him again.
I was walking to dinner with a friend one night. We stopped to talk to this fellow about his car. He asked for help, and I couldn't help. So I never heard from him again.
