Saana
This fjeld (or fell?) is located at the "hand" of Finland, in Kilpisjärvi, not too far from where the borders of Sweden, Norway and Finland meet.It rises to about 1029 meters above sea level, and is indeed the best known of our fjelds.
On our trip there, the land and trees were beautifully frozen in the morning and the frost slowly melted off during the day. I will make a post about all the beautiful frost-shots from our trip in the future. This is about the mountain.
I had to add this beautiful halo picture from one of the parking areas at the bottom.
And now, view from the ascension.
At the summit.
After reaching the summit, a mass of clouds slowly creeped over us. It felt like a roof over our heads, because the clouds were quite low in the sky.
Lapland, my dreamland <3
