Squirrel's paradise field

Just spotted this sunny field full of old pine cones.

Would I be a squirrel it would be a paradise for me.
;-)

Canadian pine cones. Are good not only for squirrels but also good to make crafts with your children.

Also you can make some thing tasty and helpful for your health.
It is like jam from pine cones, sorry I do not know official name for it.

But for that you will need young green cones. And you will have to collect them from the tree. Some times it is a not the easiest think to do. But when you are take a spoon with that jam in a cold winter day. You will be rewarded with very unique, pine honey flavor.

And in the and you can just play football with them !!!
