Birds of prey, soar as they may

Today I took a drive to a beautiful park not far from my home and was able to capture some shots of different types of birds. Shots were taken using my Canon 80D camera using a 75 - 300 mm lens.

The first few shots are of a bird that was sitting upon a branch near the water.

The next shots are of a seagull gliding through the air as it looks for fish in the waters below.

The next shot is of a bird that appears to look like a stork, resting in the weeds as it looks for fish to eat. The two shots following it are spots were fish jumped out of the water and I was able to capture the ripples and droplets left behind.

What a beautiful day to spend some time with wildlife.

Bird watching is really a great way to learn and connect with nature. It inspires and nurtures love for biodiversity.

Thank you for posting this! @jgullinese. Now I've just found myself more reason to go to the bird park and take pictures of them. Now I can't wait!
