I went for a walk with couple of friends to a sport park bit outside the city center. On the way there was this peculiar rock wall covered with ice that I could've photographed for quite some time – there's so much going on dynamic-wise – but I couldn't leave my friends hanging for ever.

But let's move on to the park, so I won't leave you hanging, too. There'll be more of these at the end of this post.

In the park there is a hill on top of which there are running stairs and next to them there's this particular Hollywood-style banner reading "Sherwood". And why exactly Sherwood? Well, it originates from some sketch in Youtube where the woods in this area were referred as Sherwood, and that's about it; it just spread and became a thing to call it Sherwood.
The banner was actually built by some artist group without permission, but the city council thought it creates a nice image for the city so they decided to leave it. I like that they aren't being too stiff. And it is actually equipped with lights so it will clearly be seen at night.

Also, I noticed a good spot to experiment with my DIY macro solution:

Just a regular magnifying glass.

Not cold enough? More ice! :D

Using flash I got a nice effect on this one.

So many ice pictures. I could stare at ice pictures forever. Beautiful stuff.

Stuff like this warms my heart. Embracing rogue art installations instead of bringing the boot down on them.

Heh, never enough ice pictures – I could've stayed on that wall for ages.

Oh yes! Also, there's a container here in the city that everyone can make graffiti on. And when a big part of the central was demolished under the way of new apartments and new shopping center, the parts going to the ground were allowed to be used for graffitis. Not sure if a permission was still needed, but regardless there was a lot of cool stuff – huge graffitis which would've not been able to be done if it should have been done "in the shadow". It was called "demolish art".

Nice shots dood. Combining out door activity with friends and photography on the blockchain is awesome.

Looks nice and refreshing where you are.

Also, it helps to give that little push to go outside knowing there's something to photograph.

Looks nice and refreshing where you are.

It was a sunny day – and a welcomed one. It's been mostly gray for the past weeks.
