Photos From The Woodburn Tulip Festival - Day 2

Here in Woodburn, Oregon we have the annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. You can't tell in the pictures but there are over 40 acres of tulips here in a variety of colors! It is an event full of beautiful scenery, fun games, great food and more!

My wife and I like to take the kids and see how the flowers are doing almost every year. And we take lots of pictures!

I will be sharing some of the best photos I snapped with the camera on my mobile phone (an LG G6). This is day 2.

Obviously they are not professional grade but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.

If any of you can suggest some good photography tags let me know! I already got one recommendation from @glenalbrethsen to use #smartphonephotography (which I used for this post) and I forgot to use the #ocd-resteem tag!

The Tractor in the Tulip Fields

He was a little scared to sit up on the tractor seat at first but he settled right in and got to work in no time at all! I sure love this little guy! I loved this picture too. He was obviously having a great time and was totally immersed in the experience. You can see a young lady standing in the field in the background having her photo taken. In the distance you can Mt. Hood again.

A zoomed-out shot of the tractor and the beautiful flowers behind it. An old John Deere. If tractors could talk I bet this one would have some flowery stories to tell. The dirt is packed flat from all the visitors walking around. Thank goodness the ground was dry. Otherwise it would have been all mud. It was a little dusty but I will take that over the mud any day. :) I also like the tall evergreen trees in the background.

What lies beyond the tractor? As if you couldn't tell, a beautiful scene of red tulips and those trees again! That little sliver of yellow tulips provides some nice contrast.
