#948 - Saturday Street Scenes in Colors.
Happy Saturday once again Hiveans! Finally as we embrace this weekend, let’s take time to recharge and also reflect. Celebrate the small victories of the week as we mentioned previously and find joy in the present moment. Whether it’s spending time with loved ones, pursuing a passion or simply resting, just like me and my family as we spent the afternoon an a university oval walking for six kilometers to sweat out toxins from the body. Remember, self-care is an essential. Let’s step into the weekend with gratitude and positivity 😊. We all deserve this kind of time! 😉🐝✨ #SaturdayWisdom #HiveBalance
Moving on now to our daily shots in colors, this first one shows two women crossing a wet road after a heavy rain with their umbrellas shielding them from remaining rain showers. The woman on the right glances over her left shoulder ensuring no vehicles are approaching. Both carry eco-friendly bags in different size and colors. The scene captured a moment of everyday resilience of the people of the city of pines where rain is such a thing.
Next one under the cover of a waiting shed beside the jeepney terminal was a sea of mostly women with just one man, taking shelter from the rain. The downpour continues and the group huddles closely while seeking refuge. Some use the nearby overpass where I was at to move around and staying dry as they navigate the wet surroundings.
Here's a father carefully carries his little baby as he was also preparing to ascend the stairs of a building. His wife follows closely behind, the couple seem to be our Muslim countrymen. On the steps though was a man that sits and seemingly unaware of the inconvenience he causes to others trying to pass.
Lastly was a scene at a jeepney terminal where drivers in red uniforms stand by their vehicles waiting for passengers to fill the seats. They chat with the dispatcher with their conversations blending with the noise of activity around them. People pass by, some hurrying, others leisurely walking, as the terminal was filled with life. The scene is a snapshot of daily routine creating a lively yet orderly rhythm in the heart of this city’s transportation.
