Start to Learning The Horse Riding
Ustadz Al Hafidz And The First Training
A beginner rider Ustadz Al Hafidz from Langsa City is seen excited in a horse riding practice session that train by coach Vrya Abu Tuah from PORDASI Langsa, an Indonesian equestrian sport organization . This is the first day of 8 training session meetings that the riders have to complete and after that it still need to continue many days go with the horse to maintain a better riding skill.
The Lesson For Beginner Rider
This first session is learning how to mount to the back of a horse, also take a good posture and sitting position, how to hold the reins effectively and control the horse by it and also you need to know what to do when you lose balance to hold you from fall off the horse. But the most important thing is learning to maintain the balance of a rider body on a horse especially when it bounces with certain tempo, so that the rider and the horse feel equally comfortable. First lesson is walk the horse and get your pelvis bone not to freeze.
Practicing Day In August Afternoon
The training began in the afternoon at around 5 pm at the horse riding arena located in Paya Bujok Seuleumak village, Langsa City. The sun sets in the backyard beautifully. This is what I like this arena. That often gives beautiful views in a tinge of orange. And the coach hold the whip along the training session for the horse to move forward and give some different steps.
The Horse Bounces
Panther the horse today he looks extraordinary, when I got my session before this and practicing in rising trot, Panther the horse gave me a few rounds that were lunge by the coach. In this case I tried to be able to do the rising trot correctly. I'm also still a beginner and still need a lot of improvement. Especially the improvement in the knee support that activates my inner thigh muscles. And also to remember is heels down that's what the coach will always said. Most common beginner rider, like me, who start learning to ride a horse forget every theory while sitting on the back of a horse. Because I will feel the bounces feels hard in the first phase of learning. That's what I need to maintain to not throw away. Of course the audience and friends who watch me it seemed like it's easy and just a small bounce ;D They have no idea about that.
