If you turn on an old tap,
slow degree by degree,
the water changes shape.
my mind is that shape.
In the beginning,
all things connect.
The alpha and the fish, an unseen novelty –
and that vortex of the new draws us in together.
And Cézanne.
And conic sections.
Or a sphere of light wrapped in vines.
Epigenetic culture randomly mutates
an immaterial hive-mind,
because domination takes without giving,
eradicates partnership,
humanity.
Here a reconvergence,
but don’t turn back and look.
Poetry has created fiction,
and fiction science,
and not for the first time –
a transmundane moment
before fragmentation.
Mist, smoke, cloud,
an unknown waterfall.

I don't really want to do an introductory post, sorry. I just want to start adding content slowly. My second writer's work will go up tomorrow.
The description at the top really says it all:

Writing Group is based in Aotearoa / New Zealand but hopes to include work from elsewhere in future.

Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want produce, and what are your expectations in this platform.
There's no pressure on this. You can choose on whatever information you would like to share.
