Hola, @elisonr13.

I really enjoyed this song. The music has an oldtime vibe to it, but the lyrics could apply to any age or generation. I really like the message of hope and light that it brings, and as you say, the tune is infectious.

Recuerda que... yo estoy contigo... Recuerda que... yo no me he ido.

The reassurance that this chorus brings is both poignant and buoyant. It uplifts in a very tender manner.

And the video with the look of wear and age really does add to it. This could have easily been a song from the 1920s to the late 1940s.

Well done. Congratulations on the curie. Keep composing. :)

I am happy to see how my words reached to be heard by friends from such distant places!

Hello Glen, thanks for such a nice comment. It is true, my way of writing, producing and playing is something very old, I always take into account the rhythms and afrodescendientes genres such as soul, blues or gospel. Why is it like this? Simple, this music although it sounds so old, it's a music that allows me to write with sincerity, rich words and not poor or vain, this is music, I try to compensate for my lack of mastery with the guitar and my limited voice with good lyrics, things that are pleasant to the ear and the life of all, like that choir so sticky!

Although not everyone likes my style and my way because they say it is very old (said by people who already accepted in their lives the sensibility and vulgarity of some current musical genres, so that normalize them) I appreciate every time someone like you , approaches to say words so full of kindness.

You're welcome. I know I'm among the few who think words matter, and so I listen to the lyrics of any song way before I get hooked on the music, because I don't want to go around singing something that I don't think I should be singing. There's a lot packed into a song that people don't even think about what's being said, and that's before you get to the out and out vulgarity that you speak of.

The thing about music, art, fashion, movies, entertainment in general, things come back around, so it might not be so popular now, but a new version of it will be some day. Maybe yours. :)

Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé are two artists that come to mind that are throwbacks as far as the music that they sing. They seem to be doing quite well for themselves. :) And there's all kinds of Beetles and other rock band tribute groups. Elvis gets impersonated a lot.

To me, that means there's a thirst for that kind of lyrics and music.

"Things re-emerge", you're right, maybe somehow I had it in mind, but not as clear as you put it on me. It is true, in this world, that kind of things happen often with fashion, music and entertainment, there is no doubt that you my friend have the gift of philosophy
