Haha, your headline is perfect! Somebody truly was in a hurry to be rid of some bills. Just strange.

The gentleman's comments about bitcoin are intriguing. I tend to think that the crypto market is separate from stocks if only because of the small investments from one to the other. @jrcornel posted some statistics today that around 80% of people in the US have heard of bitcoin, but only 10-15% have invested in it. The game is still afoot.

Interesting. I would like to know the statistics on how many Americans are invested in the stock market, and of those how many have personal investments outside of work or retirement.
It will be interesting to see if those numbers change for our generation. Will everyone have a Bitcoin IRA someday?
Will retirement accounts in diversified stocks be replaced or supplanted with naturally deflationary assets like Bitcoin? We will see!

That is an interesting question.

From what I have seen, the 30 and under crowd is much more willing to invest in crypto
