Aceh Still in Covid-19 Emergency, Always Complying with the Health Protocol

The Acting Governor of Aceh as Chairman of the Task Force Team has issued a governor's decision regarding the extension of the Covid-19 emergency.

"The head of the task force has stated that the state of emergency in Aceh is to follow an unspecified Presidential Decree when it will end," Saifullah Abdulgani (SAG) said in a statement on Monday (1/6/2020).

SAG stressed, the status of Aceh which is still in an emergency situation, the community is encouraged to remain at home except for important matters.
"Wear a mask, hand sanitizer, wash your hands frequently with soap, keep a distance, avoid crowding and control body temperature," he said.

Regarding the green zone area consisting of Pidie Jaya, Aceh Singkil, Bireuen, Aceh Jaya, Subulussalam, Nagan Raya, Southeast Aceh, West Aceh, South Aceh, Sabang, Langsa, East Aceh, and Aceh Besar, the new central government gave authority to Rakorpimda, which holds a meeting on Monday 1 June 2020.

The decision of the meeting was to launch a joint appeal and a guidebook.

SAG said, district / city governments need to determine what fields will be opened before new norms are applied. Later, for people who are productive and safe who are conspiring-19, there will be socialization, preparation of facilities and infrastructure, new simulations of new normal implementations and will be evaluated.

Before the decision of the regent / mayor is stipulated in the green zone, the regency / city must still follow the health protocol, which is to stay at home unless there is a need, not crowding and always washing hands, "said SAG.

SAG further stated that Forkopimda Aceh had held a working meeting in the Governor's Hall on Monday morning.
