East Aceh - At least 10 people killed by oil drilling wells in Aceh Timur, Aceh, exploded. Until this morning the fire has not been successfully extinguished.
The exploding oil well is located in the village of Pasir Putih Village, Ranto Peureulak Sub-district, East Aceh, Aceh. In addition to the death toll, there are 3 units of houses damaged due to heavy fire.
Head of Information and Public Relations Data Center of National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Sutopo Purwo Nugroho delivered the chronology of the incident on Wednesday (25/4/2018).

At 00:01 WIB:
The oil drilling wells are located at Jalan Pendidikan, Dusun Kamar Dingin, Desa Pasir Putih, Rantau Peureulak Subdistrict, Atim Regency, which is estimated to drill depth of about + 250 meters inside the earth to experience the excess production of crude oil.
Due to overproduction (oil shoot) many people who do the collection of oil around the well drill to be collected into the drum (shelter oil).
At 01.30 WIB:
Suddenly there was a spark around the location of the borehole, which instantly grabbed at around the location of drilling and oil storage.
A large fire caused tens of people around the site to experience a fire, and the victim was not expected to survive at the time of the incident.
At 02.30 am:
Two (two) units of fire trucks from the Peureulak area arrived at the scene helped to. extinguish the flames.
At 07.20 WIB:
The fire has not been successfully extinguished.
Sutopo added, the victims have been taken to RSUD Sultan Abdul Aziz Syah, and RSUD dr Jubir Mahmud.
For the number of victims is still, in further data collection because the fire is still not extinguished, he said.
