Week 11 Winners
Some of you went with pretty sarcastic "bribes", which were funny. Really more like threats. But the one that made me laugh the most was:
My Personal Favorite
I was all out of cash to bribe the tax collector during my audit, so instead I tried bribing him with _______.
The Encyclopedia of AFL Footballers. 7th ed.
something to give as a bribe and finding this sitting on your bookshelf collecting dust and grabbing it. Anyway. Winner.By @manoldonchev. Congratulations! I just had this mental image of you just searching frantically for
The Crowd Favorite
I was all out of cash to bribe the tax collector during my audit, so instead I tried bribing him with _______.
up to 40 centimetres
by @bengy. Congratulations! And warning people to "get their mind out of the gutter" is kind of self-defeating if that's really what you're trying to keep us from thinking :P
The RNG Award
I was all out of cash to bribe the tax collector during my audit, so instead I tried bribing him with _______.
limited-edition 12" bronze statuettes known as Brucie
by @simonjay. Congratulations!
Rules
TLDR; answer the prompt as a comment on this post using words from a random Wikipedia article
- No resteem or upvote is necessary, although it is greatly appreciated. If I get paid out more than more than 4 liquid STEEM from these posts, I will increase the number of winners.
- Use the Random Article feature on Wikipedia to get your valid list of words (your "White Cards", for those of you familiar with the actual party game). This link will take you to a random article. You can use any word(s) on the screen - intro, nav bar, anything!
- Answer in the form of a comment on this post. The format of your comment should be two lines: your answer word(s), and the link to the article you used (see sample answer to this week's prompt below)
- If you want to keep rolling for new random articles, that's your decision, although it's not in the spirit of the game. If you get a very short "stub" article or something written in another language, feel free to roll again though!
- If you intentionally use a specific Wikipedia article, I can't stop you, but again, it's not in the spirit of the game.
- Feel free to add the word "a" or "the" or similar "formatting" words to your answer if it would help it make more sense or sound better.
This Week's Prompt
My Sample Answer
This is the qualifying format I'm looking for in your comment down below:
a republican

Prizes
There will be three shares of SBI awarded as prizes.
- One share to my own personal favorite
- One share to the crowd favorite (as measured by the number of upvotes, not the dollar amount)
- One share to a random qualifying entry
I've also set a small Steem Bounty on this post. All valid entries will qualify. I'd also recommend subscribing to @dustsweeper for maximum benefit.
This contest will run for a week, at which time I'll close it out, announce the winners, and kick off the next round.
Anyway, thanks for playing, and have fun! Here's the random Wikipedia article link again. See you in the comments below!

Dollars, I think you might need to do your upvote payouts on days five or six instead of day seven. I remember coming across a post saying that votes on day seven don't count, but I couldn't find it.
Looking at past contests, It looks like some contestants didn't get a payout.
The best format is to stagger the upvotes over several days so that the upvote regenerates to 100%.
Kwok Tak-seng
Kwok Tak-seng OBE (March 12, 1911 – October 30, 1990) was a Hong Kong entrepreneur and the founder of Sun Hung Kai Properties, the largest property developer in Hong Kong.
Yeah, that's a good idea, I should start doing it that way.
I think it was a post by @dustsweeper that said they had problems with upvotes on the seventh day. They went to the 6th day, but now seem to upvote on day four.
I tried looking through the FAQ page for the exact cutoff. SteemIt is not well documented.
Looking at your Cards Against Humanity Week 10 post
It looks like most of the contestants didn't get anything for your upvotes: The picture shows your upvote and the payout is $0.00
Of course, in this day of ever declining STEEM, it is hard to keep an upvote value over $0.027 ... which is what dusty says is needed to secure a payout.
