Welcome to the first ever weekly Erebus +Reviews Steemians! From this day forward, once a week, I will list and review a few of my favorite Steemians. This is far from an exhaustive list of every good content maker on the platform, or even my own feed, just a few I personally thought deserved a shout out this week.
The first mention goes to @royaleagle for both his weekly minnow supporting contests, which I can confirm are legit, and his bot review series.
The weekly contests are focused on minnowsupport, winners of the contest can only be accounts with less than 1000 SP as of this time.
The rules of the contest are fairly simple,
Payouts
Best post by a redfish = 40% of SBD payout from this post
Best comment = 25% of SBD payout from this post
Redfish interact prize = 10% of SBD payout split up between all redfish that link and comment but don’t win.
To enter the contest:
Post a link to 1 thing you created this week and a quick description about content… the description is not necessary but helps draw people in.
Read a post by at least 2 other contestants and comment on at least one that you really liked or felt motivated to respond to.
To be eligible to win best post you must be a redfish (less than 1000SP)
Single photos and memes will qualify this week.
To win the contest:
The best comment will be decided by myself.
The best post will be awarded based on the number of votes a post receives.
Each comment is worth 1 vote for the post. Each upvote is worth ½ a vote for a post.
The bot review series is a collection of informative test runs with many of the bots here on steemit. Royaleagle personally tests out different bots, taking in to account important factors like cost, vote value, ROI, the age limits for posts, if comments can be upvoted with said bot, and whether the bot is noisy or not, ultimately deciding if the bot should be avoided or is okay to use.
I am personally a fan of his bot review series, having read every one thus far. I also enjoy his minnow supporting contest which has brought some good content to my attention. I suggest you check both out, and ask that you support his contest by participating if you meet the requirements.
The second mention this week goes to @confessor for nothing he has done yet, but what the plan is.
As Confessor himself explains in his introduction post the goal is to host confession posts, and eventually confession contests, in which people admit to embarrassing thoughts and actions either privately just to support confessor posts, or publicly during contests for monetary reward.
The first confession post has already occured with a confession of what I would describe as a serious possession issue and remaining emotions over an ex that interferes in the writer's life.
@confessor is currently accepting donations of steem, sbd, and delegated steem power (but who isn't?,) as well as confessions of your own @ thesteemconfessional@gmail.com (though he suggests that you keep the ones you are willing to admit to to yourself for the future contests.
If you have somebody in mind that you believe should be on this list, tag them in the comments below and I will check out their content for a possible mention in a future review, only rule is, no self tagging!
very good @erebus! I like @royaleagles work too. I think his bot services are underutilized and as we all get bigger I think that may change!!!
Nice job highlighting someone you respect... and I too want to watch the confessor account, I think its very creative!
Good post royaleagle really deserves to be the first person you reviewed. Are you going to follow through on this series?
I'm going to try. You know me, but I am going to try, I have more personal contacts on steemit now too, so that might help.
wonderful post, please continue

That's cool that you are doing this type of thing. It obviously helps the people you shout-out here but it also helps direct others to decent content which is good for everyone because sometimes it can be hard to seek out if you don't know which tags to look in.
I took a break after my -review got me in some hot water. I've been meaning to do another +review though, even have a small part written out. I'm glad you like it.
